The fight against illegal music downloads is going global, with a recording-industry trade group now going to court in Europe to thwart those using file-sharing networks to sidestep paying for their tunes.
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has announced an escalation in its campaign against illegal file-sharing, unveiling 459 legal actions against music uploaders and, for the first time, targeting Europe's two largest music markets -- the UK and France.
