Bridgestone to sell paper-thin electronic price tags

TOKYO - Bridgestone Corp said Wednesday it will release paper-thin electronic price tags next year, hoping to chalk up more than 1 billion yen in annual sales in two to three years.

Utilizing its proprietary liquid powder technology developed in tire production, Bridgestone is capable of producing display devices as thin as 0.25 millimeter, the Tokyo-based company said.
