HP added to the lower end of its color laser printer lineup with the $399 HP Color LaserJet 2600n, which prints 8 ppm (pages per minute) in color and in monochrome.
Also among the new printers was HP's first color laser all-in-one printer,
the Color LaserJet 2800, priced at $799. It prints 20 ppm in monochrome and 4
ppm in color, and it scans and copies.
HP is continuing to cut printer prices, responding to competition from such
rivals as Dell and Lexmark International.
