Deleting Online Predators Act already passed in
Congress. Should it also pass through the Senate, the bill would ban US
children from using popular networking Web sites in schools and libraries.
The DOPA covers federal institutions that received funding for computers and net access via the US E-Rate scheme. According to the American Library Association (ALA), two thirds of US libraries have received this funding.
